Russian Bow Motif Diamond Dangle Necklace/Brooch, Circa 1910
ABOUT THIS JEWELRY
A mellifluous confection of sparkle and curves, this early-20th-century jewel (1908-1927) of Russian provenance is a versatile beauty, fashioned to grace both your neckline and lapel. Hand fabricated in silver over 14K gold, a delightfully dimensional bow--frosted with rose cut diamonds and accented by an old mine cut diamond (in the center) and five lively Swiss cut stones--is embellished below by dangling diamond-dotted knife wires, each culminating in an inverted diamond-set openwork heart. The extraordinary jewel suspends from an 18-inch detachable chain and can be worn as a pendant or a brooch. Total diamond weight, 4.67 carats.
