ABOUT THIS WATCH

Exquisite in every way, an original early Art Deco bracelet watch by America's premier jeweler of the time (the 1920s) - Tiffany & Company. Expertly and artfully hand crafted in platinum, the round dial is double framed: inside with a sparkling diamond halo, and on the outer side with hand engraved scroll work. The elegantly flared shoulders, decoratively pierced and set with bright white diamonds of the highest color and quality, lead to an expandable (6 - 6 1/2 inch) bracelet. The Swiss movement is by one of Tiffany's most favored watchmakers' of the period - C.H. Meylan. The reverse is inscribed: "Abby H. Rutter June 7, 1924" . When not on your wrist, this ravishing vintage jewel resides in its original fitted Tiffany box.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
