ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

In this entrancing early-Mid-Century jewel, designed and faithfully emulated in transitional Edwardian/Victorian style, a fancy focal piece, shimmering with bright-white round brilliant-cut diamonds, connects to knife-wire links that are joined by lively round brilliant-cut diamonds in square settings and 'wrapped' with glittering diamond-set ribbons. A .85 carat pear-shaped diamond--topped by a bezel-set stone--dangles below and, not forgetting the back of your neck (we see an updo in your future), the lovely piece fastens by way of an elegant stylized 'X' diamond clasp, adding a final splash of sparkle. Total diamond weight, 5.75 carats. Hand fabricated in two-tone 18K yellow and white gold, pear drop setting is platinum. Measures 17 inches.
