Vintage Citrine And Diamond Cocktail Ring, Circa 1940s
SKU

ABOUT THIS RING
A beautifully proportioned emerald-cut citrine, weighing 9.50 carats, casts a truly gorgeous golden honey amber-colored glow between a pair of sparkling white European-cut diamonds, in this classic cocktail ring dating from the 1940s. How do we know for sure? Because, instead of platinum, the diamond settings are made of palladium--a look-alike cousin of platinum, which was required as a strategic metal during the WWII years (thus palladium is a more peaceful precious metal!). An enchanting vintage finger bauble, currently ring size 6 1/2.
