An ethereal pre-Raphaelite beauty, exquisitely hand painted in colorful, glossy Swiss-style enamel, is simply framed all around by glittering Swiss-cut diamonds, in this utterly lovely circle brooch hand fabricated in 18K yellow gold - circa 1890-1900. Total diamond weight, .75. Diameter is 1 inch. Notes: We have not been able to identify the maker's mark which is a winged eagle with initials H C under the wings and also marked 11. Some very faint unnoticeable scratches.
