ABOUT THIS RING

Hooray for the red, white, and blue! From America's foremost purveyor of pretty things in small packages (back in the day) comes this singular and sensational Edwardian era jewel. Dating back to the first or second decade of the twentieth century, this magnificent bypass style ring, hand fabricated in platinum over 18K gold, presents a pair of surpassing gems: a 2.21 carat natural no-heat royal blue round faceted sapphire, Thailand origin; and a 1.49 carat fiery crystalline-red natural minor-heat cushion-cut Burmese ruby (a true gem!) - both bearing gemological reports from the American Gemological Laboratory (AGL). The gorgeous gemstones are artfully presented diagonally between glittering diamond-set leaves for a graceful and sophisticated understated effect. This glorious jewel measures 5/8 inch across and is currently ring size 6.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
