In Warman's Jewelry, jewelry historian Christie Romero touches many aspects of jewelry from the late 18th century till the 1970's from a North-American perspective. Most other books covering this period illustrate mainly the high end jewelry as created by the major jewelry houses. Romero however is not afraid to illustrate more common types of jewelry, including average pricing.
Fully illustrated soft cover book which comes with a timeline of historic events, innovations and patents - as well as with a 10 pages library reference.
