1970s Modernist Jade Earrings
ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
The flowing free-form jewelry design aesthetic of the 1960s-70s is in full flower in these hip earrings,* crafted in rich gleaming 18K yellow gold and featuring a matched pair of oval natural Burmese jade cabochons imbued with a gorgeous glossy forest-green color. They measure just shy of 7/8 inch (they drop a bit further from the ear wires). Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories stating: Natural. No indications of polymers or dyes. Burma origin. *We took it upon ourselves to convert these into earrings from cuff links originally designed (and signed on the discarded links) by one Bert C Gore, an American goldsmith that lived in Paris, France at the time.
