ABOUT THIS RING
An original Victorian halo ring featuring a modest size, yet thoroughly entrancing, black opal shimmering with lustrous peacock feather colors, and encircled with twinkling antique single-cut, or Swiss-cut, diamonds. The ring was hand fabricated in Great Britain in two-tone 18 karat gold, which over time has developed a dark, warm patina, and is stamped 'G&S' inside the ring shank. Circa 1890 - 1900. 1/2 inch high.
