ABOUT THIS BRACELET

Here is a unique and interesting bracelet, to say the least. Seven thick, translucent burnt orange carnelian tablets are each artfully hand carved with Arabic calligraphy (the center piece is two-sided), and from what we can gather, one piece is inscribed with a quotation from the first line of Quran, while the others are evidently inscribed with the names of individuals. The seven pieces appear quite old, we're guessing 18th century, while the 18K frames and bracelet are late 19th century vintage. A rare and remarkable wearable collectable. Measures 8 1/4 inches.
