ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A lovely example of late Victoriana, this delightful lavaliere necklace (formerly a brooch), is crafted in silver over 14 karat rose gold at the-turn-of-the-last-century, and features a pair of prominent old-mine cut diamonds, together weighing 1.00 carat. The design, glinting with tiny rose cut diamonds, is a blend of classic Victorian bows and garlands with just a hint of Gothic and Art Nouveau influence. An elegant and darkly romantic jewel, measuring 2 by 1 1/2 inches. The blackened silver chain measures 18 inches. Total diamond weight, 1.30 carats.
