Orbited by double halos of glimmering, candlelight-loving rose-cut diamonds, a gorgeous 15.49 carat cranberry-red cabochon garnet glows at the center of this arresting pendant (formerly a brooch) that is ready and waiting to add a bit of low-key Victorian drama at your neckline. Total diamond weight, 1.25 carats. Hand-fabricated in silver over 18K gold, it suspends from an 18-inch chain. By way of mid-to-late 19th century France.
