ABOUT THIS BRACELET
Glorious Glyptography! Five exceptional early-19th-century hardstone cameos, each with two-tone carvings atop a dark translucent agate background (three colors in all), depict classical laureate Roman busts collected and assembled for an impressive effect in this rare and wonderful early-Victorian bracelet. The clasp is set with a small shell cameo depicting a Roman soldier. Presumably of Italian origin but bearing French import marks. A superb wearable collectible. The central cameo measures 1 1/8 inch by 7/8 inch; the bracelet measures 7 inches long. In 18K gold.
