ABOUT THIS RING

With a beautiful overall form and a pleasing, finger-hugging fit, this classic Art Deco-style ring is exquisitely rendered in platinum, faithfully emulating its early-20th-century Jazz Age counterparts. Its focal point, an icy-white 1.24 carat marquise diamond with a horizontal orientation, is set in a milgrain-edged bezel and tops a shimmering dome of round brilliant-cut diamonds accented with glimmering square and triangle-shaped deep blue sapphires. The diamond-frosted split shoulders lead to a shank thoroughly hand engraved all around on three sides, while milgrain detailing throughout adds the finishing touch to this alluring adornment. Total diamond weight, 1.69 carats. In platinum, currently ring size 5 1/2+. Condition note: the marquise diamond has a single laser drill hole, a process used to improve the clarity of the stone (the ring is discounted accordingly).

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection. We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
