ABOUT THIS RING

While round diamonds sparkle with bursts of light, rectangular-shaped diamonds, with their mirror-like appearance, show off by flashing bright panels of light, along with vibrant prismatic color. Fabulously flashing in this angular estate jewel, a 2.66 carat diamond in a sleek bezel setting is framed by 24 glimmering deep ocean-blue calibre sapphires, all supported by shoulders set with single-cut diamonds and a side gallery with an openwork design evocative of flames. Millegrain edges and an elegant fluted shank add the finishing details. Total diamond weight - 2.72 carats, total sapphire weight - 1.00 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, it is currently ring size 6 3/4. GIA Diamond Grading Report states: L color, SI2 - clarity.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection. We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
