ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A fierce feline suddenly pounces out from behind jungle flora, in high relief, on the front of this remarkable locket dating from the first decade of the twentieth century. Die struck in 14k over base metal, also known as rolled gold, with paste imitation gemstones. By Foster & Bailey. We found this interesting tidbit somewhere on the web: Foster and Bailey was an American silversmith that operated between the years of 1878 and 1898. Between 1873 up until 1878 the firm was known as White & Foster.
