An earthy-colored scarab (possibly sandstone) centers this striking late-Victorian Egyptian Revival necklace, crowned with an ornamented velvety 14K gold arch, and embellished with a dangling pair of lapis lazuli beads. An elongated lapis pendeloque adds a final stroke of color. A cool one. The new chain measures 18 inches.
