English Victorian .40 Carat Diamond Solitaire Ring, c.1895
ABOUT THIS RING
1895 was a very good year! According to the abundant hallmarks inside the ring shank, this lovely low-profile finger-hugger hails from London, England from exactly that year--a mere century-and-a-quarter ago. A bright-white .40-carat old mine-cut diamond, sparkles solo, held securely by 8-prongs which are intrinsic to the sleekly tailored open design. Hand fabricated in rich, gleaming 18K yellow gold. Currently ring size 7 1/2.
