Old-fashioned Victorian watch fob/seals aren't much in use these days, however, they do make for wonderful necklace pendants, and none more so than this ornate example that crowns a glowing purple, hand-engraved amethyst seal. By way of mid-19th century Great Britain, measuring just shy of one inch tall, the fob is intricately decorated all around in tri-color (yellow, rose, and white) gold dotted with a pair of bright turquoise half-beads. A rare beauty. The new chain measures 18 inches.
