ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A cure for boredom. The surface of this intriguing Victorian pendant captures your attention with its myriad of delightful and distinctive details. Beautifully shaped in 15ct gold (hence of British origin), it is decorated with Greek key and other geometric designs, as well flower-like elements and hand-engraved flourishes. A pair of raised diamond shapes, overlaid by a small arc, add dimension while black and white enamel provide striking dashes of color. A fascinating feast for your eyes. Circa 1880s. Formerly a brooch, it suspends from a fine 18 inch cable chain.
