Slender and lightly crafted, this elegant Etruscan Revival-style Victorian bangle is embellished across its top with tiny spheres (granulation) and finely twisted gold wire appliques that, together, create quite a delightful and dimensional design. Textured gold 'ropes' trim the borders north and south, adding understated--yet exquisite-- detail. Hand fabricated in 9K gold in a hinged oval shape, it measures just over 6 1/2 inches inner diameter. England, circa 1902 (according to the hallmarks).
