ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Turquoise and diamonds always make a pretty pairing, and the Victorians knew it. This bright and lively openwork pendant is dotted with European and rose-cut diamonds that glitter all around a lustrous vivid blue cabochon turquoise, while a single drop dances below. The cheery pendant, which can also be worn as a brooch, suspends from silky silver scroll chain. Hand fabricated in silver over 15K gold (hence of British origin), removable pin stem and screw are 12K. Circa 1885. Chain measures 16 1/4 inches.
