ABOUT THIS RING

Clocking in at an impressive 16.89 carats (and 1 1/8 inches long) this unique, unusual and enchanting gemstone, a heliodor* golden beryl (the same mineral composition as emerald and aquamarine), fashioned into a sleek lozenge shape, radiates with a distinctive and entrancing greenish-yellow hue. The gorgeous gemstone is modestly embellished at opposing diagonals with rows of small sparkling white round brilliant-cut diamonds and strips of matte-finished platinum. A singular and striking showstopper. Hand fabricated, currently ring size 6.

*'Helios' is from Greek Mythology - the sun personified as a god, father of Phaethon. He is generally represented as a charioteer driving daily from east to west across the sky. The stone is called Heliodor because it is the color of the sun. (well, kinda sorta!)
