After completing a most marvelous metamorphosis, the humble and unassuming caterpillar becomes a fabulous, fluttering jewel of the air. Some boast extraordinary colors and patterns and a few, like this one, sparkle with abandon. This lovely Lepidoptera shines with single and round brilliant-cut diamonds and one .44 carat European cut, while the tip of each wing is brightened by a clear light-blue synthetic spinel. Although usually flitting from flower to flower, this one is quite content to preen at your neckline. Total diamond weight, .85 carat. Crafted in 14K white and yellow gold. Chain measures 18 1/4 inches.
