ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Green jade, in all its varying hues, has been revered for centuries and is indeed a breathtaking stone. But all jade is not green, and this arresting pendant presents one of the gem's most enchanting and rare colors—lavender. Measuring an impressive 2 7/8 inches, the soft violet cabochon jade is adorned above and beneath with sprays of shimmering, textured leaves, suspends from a sleek 19-inch bar chain, and makes a stunning statement piece. Hand fabricated in 18K gold. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural. No indications of polymers or dyes. Burma origin.

About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection. We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
