Faberge Ruby and Diamond Band Ring
From St. Petersburg, Russia - circa 1910, by the renowned Russian master jeweler--among other things--to the Czars (as well as other nobility and carriage trade) comes this uncharacteristically simple, though characteristically gemmy, ruby and diamond double band ring. A gently graduated row of gorgeous, crystalline red, old Burmese cushion-cut rubies (accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratory stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Burma origin) share half the stage with a mirror-image row of sparkling near-colorless antique cushion-cut diamonds, all set in gleaming 14K yellow gold. Clearly hallmarked on base of shank. 1908-1927 Currently ring size 6 3/4.
