This singular and sensational antique diamond ring by way of France, crafted in platinum over 18K rose gold, features a scintillating trio of very old and unusual diamonds. The 1.91 carat triangular center diamond has a rose-cut-type top, and its alluring color is certified by the GIA as "Fancy Light Pink-Brown," while the sparkling white side stones, which total just over 1.00 carat, are very early table-cut diamonds. Along with the central diamond, they date back to 1838-1847 (based on ring hallmarks). Held by charming fleur-de-lys prong settings, the dazzling diamonds are strikingly set on the bias in an intriguing interplay with the ring's sweeping bypass shoulders, embellished with lovely rose-cut diamond-set leaves. Measuring 1 and 3/16 inches, the delightful jewel comfortably embraces the length of your finger. A fabulous and far from ordinary collectable. Total diamond weight, 3.14 carats. Ring size 7 1/2. Digital grading report available from the GIA states: Natural Fancy Light Pink-Brown color - SI2 clarity.
