ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Lockets are lovely little treasure holders and this one is particularly pretty. Embellished with an intricate openwork overlay, it is punctuated by exceptionally vivid rich blue turquoise cabochons and a single shimmering seed pearl. The enchanting jewel opens to reveal a double locket compartment and suspends from a fancy link chain. From the land of fabulous things--France, circa 1900. Hand fabricated in warmly burnished 18K gold. Chain measures 16 1/2 inches. Condition note: locket has small dent in rear.
