ABOUT THIS RING

Halfway between a rose-cut and old mine-cut diamond best describes the unique cut of the center diamond in this fabulous and impressive Victorian style ultra-sparkler. Although measuring 1.50 carats, the circumference of the stone is equivalent to a modern, or European-cut diamond weighing 2.50 carats. The height of the crown is similar to a European-cut, but the bottom is flat like a rose-cut. The enchanting diamond is first encircled by small glittering rose-cut diamonds, and then by an outer frame of bright old mine-cut diamonds, all of which are set in silver atop a 15ct. gold under gallery and ring shank. A radiant and regal jewel from Great Britain, measuring just shy of 3/4 inches diameter. Currently ring size 7 1/2.

How to Pair Your Wedding Band

You found your ideal, beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique or vintage engagement ring… and then realized that you need a wedding band to go with it. Pairing the two can be tricky, since vintage engagement rings rarely come with matching bands, and many modern bands don’t accommodate vintage shapes and designs. So we created a line of vintage-style wedding bands, modeled after original pieces from our collection.

About Victorian Jewelry

The eclectic Victorians didn’t limit themselves when it came to motifs and themes—if it struck their fancy, they turned it into jewelry. Sweet and sentimental with a distinct romantic streak, Victorian gems expanded upon their Georgian predecessors. The array of styles that blossomed (sometimes quite literally) during this era endure to this day.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
