ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Radiant and romantic, this ravishing jewel will emblaze your neckline with 141 supremely sparkling diamonds. The back of the necklace is composed of a knife wire chain punctuated by stones in round and diamond-shaped settings. The bottom half presents a glittering row of square-set old mine-cut diamonds with a fanciful fringe of diamonds set in an array of shapes--clovers, diamonds, inverted tulips, and round. In a word--spectacular! Circa 1880-1900. Total diamond weight, 7.56 carats. Rendered in silver over 9ct. gold (hence of British origin). Measures 16 1/2 inches.
