Sturdily crafted in gleaming 14K yellow gold, circa 1890-1900, the front of this ultra-lovely Victorian/Art Nouveau locket is wreathed all around with raised neoclassical ornamentation, while the reverse is adorned with a fanciful hand engraved monogram. Just over 3/4-inch diameter. The new chain measures 18 inches.
