Since Van Cleef & Arpels invented and essentially dominated the art of invisible setting back in the early-20th-century, only a handful of jewelers were able to master the rigorously technical and difficult technique. Here is a stunning example of invisible setting--with a surprise! One side features a square plaque composed of richly glowing red-hot rubies, the other presents a fabulous flash of icy-white princess-cut diamonds, both of which are framed all around by tiny twinkling full-cut diamonds. Measuring 9/16 inch square, this double dazzler is expertly crafted in gleaming 18K white gold. 2.09 carat total diamond weight, 2.41 carat total ruby weight.
