ABOUT THIS RING

Something astounding from the House of Piaget (we knew they occasionally ventured away from fine timepieces but this is the most extraordinary jewel we've seen by them). A glorious South Sea button pearl (that nicely lowers the profile), but considerable in size (over 17 millimeters), captivates in a surround scintillating with alternating pairs of icy-white baguette and round brilliant-cut diamonds that create a dome of shimmer and light. The arresting assemblage is supported by an under gallery with an open pinwheel design and by shoulders set with flashing baguettes. It's ready and waiting for your next grand entrance. Total diamond weight, 4.45 carats. In platinum, currently ring size 6. *This exceptional jewel is from the estate of a renowned A-list Hollywood actor (only to be revealed upon purchase ;).

About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection. We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
