ABOUT THIS RING
Springy, slinky tubogas, or gaspipe, gold was all the rage during the mid-20th-century, mostly in necklaces and bracelets. Here we have a late-20th century update in the form of a thrice-coiled serpent ring sparkling at the head with a .59 carat pear shape diamond and on the tail with a glowing green small round cabochon emerald. Made from 18K yellow gold, it comfortably fits a 5 1/2 to 6 ring size, but cannot be sized outside of this range.
