ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
Sometimes you need all the power you can muster. Behold the mythical griffin, with its eagle head and body of a lion, it combines the strength of creatures considered the "King of the Air," and "King of the Beasts," and, therefore, is a particularly powerful, wise, and magnificent presence. This one, encircled by his own tail which extends to the bail, is rendered and hand engraved (beautifully on the reverse) in brightly burnished 18K gold, and comes bearing a shining old mine-cut diamond. Circa 1890-1900. Measuring 7/8 by 1 1/4 inches, the pendant suspends from an 18-inch chain.
