An extraordinary antique Bohemian necklace, by way of nineteenth-century eastern Europe, is composed of 23 graduated oval rose-cut garnets aglow with a deep almandine burgundy hue. The seven larger central sections alternate with freely swinging teardrop pendants and the smaller sections alternate with a cross like arrangement. A truly splendid example of the romantic Bohemian style. The necklace measures 15 1/4 inches and measures 1 1/8 inches at the widest (center) point.
