Pieces of the the so-called Great Cross of Guarrazar. Made of gold, precious stones, nacre, pearls and rock crystal in the 7th century. It’s part of the Treasure of Guarrazar, found in Guadamur (Toledo, Spain) in 1853 and 1861. These two plates decorated one side of the cross’ arms. Image by Luis García
