ABOUT THESE EARRINGS
Kids will be kids. These late-19th-century earrings feature the original party animal--an adolescent Bacchus (or Dionysus in ancient Greek), the mischievous Roman god of wine and revelry. Hand carved in vibrant persimmon-colored coral and arrayed in a lion-skin toga, his flowing locks are crowned with the customary grape clusters. Set inside ornate and intricately fashioned 14K gold frames, he can't wait to get the party started. Hand fabricated. The more the merrier--we have a matching pendant/brooch 90-1-14158.
