From those Victorian proto-hipsters. Originally intended as mourning jewelry (circa 1880, that is), these dramatic 2-inch long curvaceous ear drops--artfully designed and hand carved in gleaming black onyx--are embellished up top with an inverted seed pearl-studded 'U,' and swing back and forth in the center with a pearly pendulum. Rare and très cool.
