Victorian Cabochon Ruby and Diamond Bangle Bracelet
ABOUT THIS BRACELET
Bangles go way back. In 1973, a 4,500-year-old statue of a teenage girl--called the "Dancing Girl"--was discovered in an archaeological site in Pakistan. She was nude, adorned only with an armful of bracelets. And while we are not suggested that you strut around in the buff wearing nothing but jewelry, more bangles is always a good thing. This chic Victorian era beauty of brightly burnished 18K gold pops with color and sparkle courtesy of a 1.06 carat raspberry-red cabochon ruby accented on each side by glimmering rose-cut diamonds, all in sleek bezel settings. The fancy openwork galleries add a contrasting flourish to this always in vogue jewel. Total diamond weight, .45 carat. Measures 6 3/4 Inch. Condition note: back half of bracelet has some ripple marks.
