ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
A beauty in profile (possibly, Flora, the Roman goddess of flowering plants) is carved in intaglio fashion on the front of this Victorian sardonyx disk pendant. Encircled by a ribbed frame and accented with an ornamental top, it suspends from a distinctive chain of cable links alternating with stations reminiscent of bow ties. If you are born in August and are not that keen on peridot or spinel, sardonyx was the original birthstone for this sunny summer month. Hand fabricated in 12K yellow gold. The 9ct chain measures 18 inches.
