ABOUT THIS RING
This late-nineteenth century gold and diamond cocktail ring radiates with one-and-three-quarter carats of old mine-cut diamonds. The central .35 carat diamond is held high by strikingly elongated prongs and is orbited by eight smaller diamonds, all of which glisten from within buttercup settings accented with dramatic black enamel which also adorn each shoulder. The top of the ring is gently sloped in a turban-like shape and the comfortably shaped undergallery is adorned with hand engraving. This bold and beautiful antique bauble measures 21 millimeters high by 18 millimeters wide.
