Whether waxing or waning, the graceful shape of a crescent moon has long served as an inspiration and mainstay of Victorian jewelry design. And in this delightful adornment, dating back to the latter 19th century, four glittering rose cut diamond-studded crescents coalesce to create a stunning and sinuous lavalière with a small lustrous white baroque pearl dangling below. Lovely. (According to the British website onyourjourney.co.uk: "The waxing crescent moon is associated with intention setting, manifestation, and taking action towards our goals.
