ABOUT THIS JEWELRY
Cool fact: the word shamrock derives from the Irish 'seamrog,' which means little or young clover. How sweet. This little clover also sparkles and gleams. Centered by a lustrous natural button pearl, its scalloped leaves shine with scintillating old mine-cut diamonds (plus a few rose cuts on the stem), their brightness accentuated by darkened silver over gold settings. The delightful leaflet suspends from an 18-inch chain and can also be worn as a brooch. Total diamond weight, 2.75 carats. Hand-fabricated, circa 1890.
