ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This classic and relatively sizable Victorian pendant - circa 1875 - features a fanciful, geometric, multidimensional, escutcheon centerpiece decorated with black enamel tracery (taille d’épargne) and tiny shimmering natural seed pearls. Rendered in 14 karat awash in a deep rich rosy-yellow gold hue, particularly lovely by candlelight. Consummate Victoriana, it measures 1 3/4 by 1 1/4 inches on an 18 inch chain.
