They don't make 'em like this anymore! And that's an understatement. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail that went into this relatively petite late-Victorian/early-Edwardian keepsake is quite impressive. Hand fabricated in silver over 14K gold, a puffed heart--emblazoned with rich glossy cobalt blue enamel--is center-pierced with a flower set with a sparkling old mine-cut diamond, and glistens all around with tiny twinkling rose-cut diamonds. These in turn are bordered by 14 small lustrous natural pearls. Turn it over to discover a small compartment reserved for a lock of your loved one's hair. Sweet Victorian sentimentality at its finest. Total diamond weight, .55 carat. New chain measures 16 inches.
