This charming book locket--sumptuously hand-engraved with a different intricate design on the front (including a garter motif) and reverse sides--opens to reveal a double photo compartment that currently displays portraits of a quite dignified Victorian couple. Leave them in place and muse on what their lives might have been like, or replace them with our own treasured photos and wear a bit of your autobiography around your neck. Hand fabricated in 18K gold, circa 1880. The newer 14K gold chain measures 18 inches.
