The talented and inspiring Greek Muse, Erato--the patron of lyric and erotic poetry--arrayed in a diaphanous flowing toga, strums her lyre atop a black onyx background framed all around with glittering rose-cut diamonds. Aptly supported by a pair of lyre-shaped shoulders, this exceptionally lovely 3/4-inch long Victorian dinner ring is artfully designed and hand fabricated in gleaming 18K rose gold. A rare and romantic treasure, circa 1885. The fluted ring shank is currently a petite size 4.
