Victorian Five-Stone Wedding Band, Circa 1893
SKU

ABOUT THIS RING
Victorian wedding bands are so pretty, it's tempting to forego the engagement ring (well, maybe not). This one, rendered in 18K rosy yellow gold, twinkles on top with a quintet of old mine-cut diamonds in a decorative navette-shaped setting. The shoulders are deeply carved with a design reminiscent of a fleur de lys--or an owl--depending on how you turn it. Delightful. Total diamond weight, 0.25 carat. From Chester, England, 1893--according to the hallmarks. Hand-numbered, currently ring size 7 3/4.
