A dramatic pair of Victorian garnet and diamond drop earrings - circa mid-to-late-19th century. A pair of large pear-shaped, dusky wine red cabochon garnets glisten and glow from within open frames composed of old mine-cut diamonds set within both round and square shaped silver settings. Rose-cut diamond-set fringe culminate in dart-shaped drops dancing below. Hand fabricated in silver over white gold. 2 inches long and lovely.
